See [Keybinds](/docs/guides/keybinds), [Web radar](/docs/guides/web-radar) and [Grenade authoring](/docs/guides/grenade-authoring) for the workflows behind these controls.

See [Visual settings](/docs/guides/visual-settings) for material and visibility interactions, and [Focus and shortcuts](/docs/guides/focus-and-shortcuts) for menu zoom and application controls.

## Save changes [#save-changes]

Use **Config** to save your active profile and choose the startup default. Profiles store feature settings and keybinds. The separate `_settings.json` file stores startup selection and menu preferences. See [Manage profiles](/docs/guides/profiles) for save, load and backup steps, and [Configuration](/docs/concepts/configuration) for paths and overrides.

## Layout conventions [#layout-conventions]

Related controls belong in titled sections. Disabling a feature should hide its dependent sliders, colors and selectors while keeping the master switch visible. Adjust menu size with `menu_scale`, independently of the game projection settings in [Display scaling](/docs/guides/display-scaling).
